When force calibration is performed precisely on devices that are utilized to measure force in various industries at frequent intervals, then we can be rest assured regarding the consistency of their performance. Sushma calibration laboratory offers many positives especially when it comes to calibrating a force transducer: Sushma Calibration Laboratory is accredited as per ISO 17025 in India & all the sensors that come to us are calibrated as per ISO 376:2011.

Highlights
- We are capable of calibrating Tensile and Compressive force measuring equipment in the range of 0.01N to 1000kN – which is an extremely wide range. While measuring from 0.01N to 20kN we use the First Principle method, & for forces above 20kN to 1000kN we calibrate the load-cells using the Secondary Method.
- Calibration of complete measuring chains including third-party products are done at no additional cost
- We have decades of experience (since 1991) in the calibration of force transducers, force sensors and force proving instruments using force calibration tools
- We carry out calibration of industrial sensors in a cost-effective manner and as per set standards that meets the highest force calibration standards.
Force Calibration Procedure: First Principle Method:
- We use First Principle method using deadweight for precise calibration for Class 00 force sensors. Which is applicable in the range of 0.01N – 20kN as per IS 4169:2014, ISO 376, ASTM E74-13a
- This is suitable for National Metrology Institutes, Regional Institutes, Research Institutes, top calibration labs, and other manufacturers
Secondary Standard/Multiplication method:
- Motorised or Hydraulic System, this is applicable for the given range of 0.01N – 1000kN as per IS 1828:2005 (ISO 7500)
- Only compression from 0 to 1000kN
- Both Compression & Tensile up to 0.20kN
- High Uncertainty
- Suitable for Calibration Labs, Educational Institutes,
- This method can be used to calibrate Class 1 & 2, force sensors as per ISO 376
